Finds and changes

I am so excited about this find. I have been looking for a rug for under my dining room table for a while. I really am a frugal shopper, I try not to pay full price for anything unless I absolutely have to....so when I found this rug at a yard sale Saturday, I was estatic. The rug is 9 x 11 and fits perfectly under my table and the colors are perfect. And the best part.....it was only $20.00. Of course no camera can make anything look exactly how beautiful it is, at least my camera doesn't, but here it is.

Well, that's my thrifty find for the week, but I think its a good one.

Now, this is a thrifty find I found a couple of weeks ago and transformed it a little.

    Now THAT'S a great transformation. And, such great inspiration to boot! I see those cheese domes all the time at yard sales. It never occurred to me to do something like that! Thanks so much!!!!
